Crutch words that can ruin a sentence

Crutch words are words that we slip into sentences in order to give ourselves more time to think, or to emphasize a statement. Over time, they become unconscious verbal tics. Most often, crutch words do not add meaning of a statement. Actually is the perfect example of a crutch word.

Questions the sales assistants might ask:
Hello. How may I help you?
Are you looking for anything in particular, Sir?
Hello. How can I help you?
Hello. What can I do for you?
Can I help you at all? (Very polite)

«Would you rather…» questions

Here are a load of great "would you rather" questions for you to enjoy. Some are ridiculous, some are quite deep, while others are just fun to answer. And I’m sure you’ll find at least a few "would you rather" questions that are really hard to answer!
1. Would you rather always be 10 minutes late or always be 20 minutes early?
2. Would you rather lose all of your money and valuables or all of the pictures you have ever taken?
