Use the bathroom in English

Today, let's cover some expressions that we use to talk about things that you do in the bathroom.
First of all, you should know what the "bathroom" is. In American English, the "bathroom" is the room in a house or building which has a toilet, a sink, and sometimes a bath or shower. In other countries, this room is not called a "bathroom". For example, Canadians call it a "washroom".

In British English, it's called the "loo" or the "WC". You may also hear the phrase "restroom", which is a more polite word for "bathroom" in American English.
