Once upon a time there was a young woman who was full of pride...
so full
of pride that she almost missed her opportunity to meet someone wonderful. Not
me! Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice! My favorite book of
all time! It's about Elizabeth, an honest, lively, witty girl who insists
on choosing her own path, and the handsome Mr. Darcy. He makes a bad first impression, although those who know him well know thathe is kindhearted.
Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy must overcome so many obstacles beforethey realize they are meant to be together. Firstly, they both tend to judge people too
quickly.
Elizabeth meets Darcy and has a terrible first impression of him; she thinks he's rude.Darcy sees Elizabeth as cold and sharp tongued. She does say some mean things tohim. The funny thing is they keep running into each other! Something bigger than them isbringing them together. and finally they're able to get over their initial impressions ofeach other.
Elizabeth suddenly sees Darcy for who he is: intelligent, honest, kind. and she discoversthat she has met someone wonderful. I know it's just a book. But. I mean, who wouldn'twant the perfect ending and the perfect Mr. Darcy?
